HOW TO CONFIGURE FASTMAIL SMTP?

Steps to configure  Fastmail email server settings
If you have your account in Fastmail that is a paid email service then you must configure the standard settings needed to access the email, files and contacts of your Fastmail account. If you want to receive and send emails through your Fastmail account from any email program then the IMAP (Internet Access Message Protocol) settings and SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) settings must be configured in your email server. If you don’t know How to Configure Fastmail SMTP and IMAP email server settings then go through the steps given below.

Steps to configure settings:

·        Go to the email server settings of your Fastmail account
·        Select SMTP as account type for outgoing server
·        Enter your Fastmail email address in the username box
·        Type the password you have created to access your Fastmail account
·        Type mail.messagingengine.com in server hostname box
·        Then type 465 in server port box
·        Enable required authentication by typing YES, email account username and password
·        Type YES in SSL/TLS box

Steps to configure IMAP settings:

·        Go to the email server settings of your Fastmail account
·        Select IMAP as account type for the incoming server
·        Enter your Fastmail email address in the username box
·        Type the password you have created to access your Fastmail account
·        Type mail.messagingengine.com in server hostname box
·        Then type 993 in server port box
·        Type YES, email account username and password in the required authentication box
·         Type YES in SSL/TLS box
